The APF-S hatch can be clad with tiles, carpet, porcelain stoneware, laminate, or linoleum up to 18mm thick, allowing it to blend seamlessly into most modern floor types.
Is the hatch really invisible once installed?
Yes. Once tiled or covered, the hatch sits flush with your floor and becomes virtually invisible. Only a fine joint line is visible, making it ideal for both residential and commercial spaces where aesthetics matter.
How does the hatch open and close?
he APF-S features gas struts for semi-automatic opening, allowing smooth, controlled lid movement with minimal effort. It also includes a secure latch lock, operable from outside for added safety and functionality.
What’s the difference between the APF-S and APF-U hatches?
The APF-S offers a slightly larger clear opening, and a different installation method (the APF-S has a frame which rests on top of the floor, and the APF-U has a frame which sits inside the structural opening). Both hatches look the same once installed and both are designed to be invisible.

Get rid of those ugly Loft hatches with something sleak.

We were looking for something to replace our ugly plastic loft hatches that have been a blight on our house for 10 years.
